Laura Sawka is an accomplished cybersecurity executive with experience in compliance, IT auditing, risk management, and security governance.  In Laura’s most recent role she led Security Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) at Salesforce overseeing a global team of GRC professionals and partnering with engineering leaders to deliver GRC at scale. Prior to leading Security GRC, Laura held a number of leadership positions at Salesforce in the compliance space and she began her career at KPMG where she performed IT audits and advisory services.  During Laura’s career she has demonstrated the ability to balance compliance with business objectives while managing security risks to achieve strategic outcomes. She is a highly motivated leader adept at thriving in rapidly changing environments, with a passion for inspiring and driving high-performing teams.  In addition to her work in security, Laura is a women’s leadership advocate and mentor.
