Alice Nathoo

Former-Vice President of Impact, Headspace

Alice’s career spans advertising, fashion, and tech, with a consistent focus on innovation, creativity & community impact. In the early 2000s, she produced commercials for brands such as Levi’s and Ben & Jerry’s. By 2005, Alice joined BBH London, where she leveraged her group dynamics training at Hyper Island, a Swedish tech school, to implement an agile creative ideation process. This approach brought cross-functional teams together to rapidly generate and test innovative ideas.

At BBH, Alice became the agency’s leading digital producer, working with Burberry and the co-founders of Headspace on their first website, branding, and event materials. For Burberry, Alice produced groundbreaking projects, including creating hologram models, "Tweetwalk" (the first live backstage tweeting of runway looks), and global live streams of Burberry’s London & Milan Fashion Week runway shows, using tech to revolutionize access to the front row. Her impact earned her a place as a founding member of Burberry’s Creative Media Department, where as Director of Creative Media, she led a team of producers delivering show content, model influencer campaigns, and marketing and retail initiatives.

In 2016, Alice moved to Los Angeles to rejoin the Headspace co-founders as Head of Content. There, she oversaw the creation of in-app & marketing content, animations, and design. Promoted to VP of Brand Experiences & Social Impact, Alice led major community initiatives, including “Healthy Happy America,” a program aimed at improving the nation’s health and happiness city by city. She also collaborated with state and local governments—such as New York, Michigan, LA County, and the City of Hartford—on public self-care initiatives. Additionally, Alice ran programs like Headspace for Educators (supporting K-12 teachers) and launched Headspace for Teens, providing young people across the U.S. with access to mental health resources in response to post-COVID mental health challenges.

In 2023, Headspace won the Apple Design Award in the "Social Impact" category, a testament to its accessibility and positive influence on mental health worldwide.
Passionate about preventative strengths based solutions for mental health, Alice is also the co-founder of the Art Culture Club, a middle school initiative that fosters creativity, connection, and community through free art and culture education. Now based in LA, she remains a lifelong supporter of Ipswich Town Football Club.
